Oxford High School is where my first teaching position began over 19 years ago.  Before teaching, I worked as a laboratory scientist at Children’s Hospital and Wayne State Medical School.  I have also worked as a sales representative for a major biotechnology firm.  My experience working in the field has given me a different perspective to help students understand the importance and application of science in the “real world”.   In addition to teaching at the high school, I have also served on the faculty council for our chapter of National Honor Society for over ten years.

My husband Wayne and I reside in Clarkston.  My two grown stepchildren have provided us with three grandchildren who love to come visit to fish in the summer and play hockey in the winter.  Favorite past times include attending a variety of concerts, opera, hockey games (youth and professional), art museums and traveling to the West side of the state to Saugatuck to visit family.
