Welcome to my classroom! I have been teaching Auto Technology for over 29 years, 25 of which have been here at Oxford High School. I am fully State and ASE certified in all eight core areas of Auto Technology. I have developed the curriculum for, and taught all levels of, Auto Technology at OHS. I am currently teaching the upper level Auto Tech 1, 2 & 3 courses.
I acquired NATEF certification for the program in the areas of Front End, Suspension, Brakes, Electrical, and Engine Performance. This program has gained recognition for the students’ continued success in the National AAA/Ford Student Auto Skills Competition. The auto technology program offers articulation agreements with colleges and trade schools so that students will not have to repeat courses they have already taken in our program. This saves money and time in their college training.
I also run a car club that meets once weekly after school. We work on a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere and the students' cars.
I had the honor of being selected as Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2001-2002.
