Hola! I am a proud Yooper—born and raised in Escanaba. I am highly qualified to teach Spanish K-12 and English 7-12. I have been teaching Spanish and/or English for over 15 years. Before teaching at Oxford, I taught at Mid-Peninsula Schools in the Upper Penninsula and also at Morley Stanwood High School on the west side of the state.
I am happily married to my husband, Dan. We have two daughters, Maddie and Baylie. They keep us very busy. In addition to teaching, I love to spend time with my family, traveling (especially to the U.P.), hanging out with friends and walking. I love sports; especially the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Red Wings, and of course, the Oxford Wildcats!
